US carriers join forces to fight incidents of copper cable theft, stop disruptions to Internet services

The Internet & Television Association in the US posted a worrying report – there were 18,327 incidents of theft and vandalism that affect the network of wires that bring Internet connectivity to customers’ homes. TrendForce: global smartphone market declined 1.7% in Q1, things will get worse later this year

284 million smartphones were produced globally in the first three months of 2026, a decline of 1.7% compared to the same period last year, reports TrendForce.
